ruptured tarsel sheath - help and advise please.

Hello.
I wondered if you could give me some advise please.
We have a 4 year old filly and is in full work up until 2 weeks ago . We got her in from the field and noticed her near side hock was very swollen and a lot of fluid present. There is no heat and the filly is not lame.
We have since taken her to see a vet and she has scan and an x-ray and she has been diagnosed with a ruptured tarsel sheath resulting in a false thoughpin. We haven't been told how long this is going to take to heal and she has now been on box rest for two weeks.
Please can you tell me what is the standard time for healing with this sort of injury?
Many thanks
