Georgia, I agree with everyone else, I would not touch them until you have to. I'm not sure if you've seen
this thread, but I am in the midst of aggressively treating sarcoids, but only because my mare's body sort of made the decision for us. For months, I had just been watching them since they were staying the same shape/size. Almost overnight, the sarcoid turned into a large, bleeding nodule, so then we began treating.
The "rule of thumb" advice I got from one vet was to leave them alone if they're the size of a pea; if they get to be the size of a grape, it might be time to act. Obviously that would be a judgement call for the owner/vet. Good luck!
