    Is this a Scam?

Is this place a scam. H o rseadv ice.com (I put the spaces in there because it keeps linking to their site if I don't and I'm not the one linking it). They post a forum and the doctor/administrator is very clever and careful in answering questions with only enough information to point you back to an article (apparently he has written?) that you must subscribe to or join their website to read.

This irks the heck out of me and reminds me of those advertisments about "this natural fruit will cure cancer" but they never tell you what the "natural fruit" is.

Anyone belong to this site. Is it just a money scam?

I was a member for a while, definitely not a scam. The web site has been around a long time and there is a lot of good information on it. I "re-join" every so often, if I can't find the information I'm looking for elsewhere, or want to confirm information I have found from a less reliable source.

I guess his method of being very sly with his forum answers just rubbed me wrong. I'm reading all this and thinking to myself, why not just work with your own vet (instead of an internet vet who never sees your horse).

True. My vet is one of the few in our area that actually pays attention to nutrition and deworming research though. If I was stuck with any other vet, I would not be getting the kind of information available from horseadvice.com or other reliable online sources. Not all areas have really good horse vets.
