Send prayers my way please

I know in the big picture this is small, but we sent my mare to the trainers Sunday and he called today and said she was lethargic and not eating (really off because she's a piglet). All vitals are fine and she's being very closely monitored, but I'm so worried! Our trainer has the same vet we do, so he's in contact with him.
We're going to go see her tonight and maybe give her some mineral oil to see if she's got something in her gut. I'm so worried about my little girl

Same thing happened to my mare when I sent her to the trainers...she was given banamine (sp?) for three days to help her keep from colicing....she is the one with the most issues from being separated from the herd so I know it was kicking in by being moved to a strange/different property...she bounced back though after those first few days...and gave the trainer a run for his money. She prefers women, and even though as a untrained horse I could get on her with no issues, no bucking, nothing...we found out she does have it in her...will be hoping she feels better soon....

I'm not much help but wanted to send as many thoughts and prayers as possible! Keep us posted!

I'll send up prayers... It could be that she's just upset (away from home). Some horses don't take change well. My 30 year old get's upset if I change stalls or shift paddocks, you CAN NOT mess with his routine!

Hopefully it's something really small and she'll be fine.

Thanks for all the good thoughts and prayers! I'm more worried because she went to this same trainer in March and we didn't have any issues. If anything he kept talking about how much she would eat if he let her. She has been around my husband's mare since then, so hopefully she is just missing her. Breaks my heart that I broke hers that way, though. We're going to go see her tonight. I'll keep ya'll posted.

I hope everything is OK with your horse! My thoughts are with you both.

Some horses take it pretty bad when you move them to the new environment. It's very possibly a case with your baby too.

Yesterday we had a storm and I lost internet. They just got it back up. So, because of the storm I couldn't go see Gracie. The trainer called about 10:00 last night and said she is eating. Her vitals were all still good. We think she's just depressed. Breaks my heart that I did this to her, but I can't keep her if she doesn't get more training.

I'll keep you posted. If he doesn't call today we are going to try to go see her this evening, but I think it's suppose to rain again, so we'll see.
