Blue Eyed Pony, Wow thats terrible the poor thing! Yeah the vet did say that there is a high risk of infection but hes a long way off that stage. Apparently his cut is only 1.5-2 inches wide. Glad to hear your friends mare is better and thank you for letting me know her story :)

Its the weirdest thing about him is that hes not walking any differently to before. Hes not even lame on it. Its right across the front of his hock and apparently its only 1.5-2 inches long. I havent seen it for myself because I wasnt there when the vet came initially.

I'm so sorry to hear about your boy! Thats so sad. We had to get the vet back out to my horse last night because of colic.
