Question Share: Keeping Track of Vaccines, deworming, hoof care...

I am trying to figure out the best way to set up a record to keep track of my geldings health maintenance and anything else that would be good to document. I am sure many of you keep amazing records and I was hoping you might share...? I was thinking of just making up a form in Excel or Word, but I can't decide what all I should put on it and exactly how I want to set it up.

So if you keep good records of your horse maintenance can you please, please share! Thanks!

I have a notebook. I have a lot of notebooks actually. 3 ring 1" notebooks with lots of clear plastic paper holders in them. I have 1 for pets. (we have A LOT of pets) I put all my receipts and such in it. In the front I just have a simple spreadsheet that I write dates in. It's amazing how much horse stuff translates for our dogs as well. I simply keep one spreadsheet for all of them. Worming, rabies, hoof/nail trim, dental, etc. So I write the date it's done in the slot next to my pets name. Did this make any sense???? Also, since i'm so new to horse ownership I'm keeping the packaging for some of the stuff I use in the binder as well. I'm on a buy 10 get one free plan for the grain so I keep the proof of purchase in the binder too.
