Ok, so we told the people at the barn about it (her owner wasn't there) and apparently she has done it before, but they insist its just her sleeping...it didn't seem like it though.

The rule of thumb with a foal is to act quickly as they can crash really fast. So vet should be called immediately any thing seems out of place.
