Some say they are dangerous. Some people prefer polos. Me, well I have no idea how to wrap polos and my horse is accident prone. She doesn't stomp around though so I'm not worried about the boots. But the last time she cut herself just above the boots....so didn't work so well there.
I always trailer with shipping boots, always. But, you have to be careful with shipping boots. A lot of them will slip down around the horse's feet. Do not get fleece lined shipping boots. They always slip and make the horse's legs get very hot. These are the ones I use. They work just fine.
I prefer No-Bows and Standing Wraps vs Shipping Boots. All the times I threw shipping boots on they were halfway down the leg by the time we reached our destination. They are just to much of a hassle for me so I went back to using what I have always used and don't have problems. Posted via Mobile Device
