I know! He's never been one to show pain though, so I didn't suspect a thing!

okay, this is crazy! I wasn't even aware that a bean that big could actually accumulate! What a nightmare for the poor boy!

Life seems mighty precious, when there's less of it to waste.

You know Golden, he's always had a bit of a bulge at the end, just how it's shaped so I never even suspected a thing! But I still feel like a bad mother :/

I've got 7 geldings and anytime I see one of them dropped I grab ahold and check for beans. Thank goodness there's not much traffic around here because if someone were driving by they'd probably think I was a pervert. LOL

When I had jeff we had to get his sedated and his bean had to be removed by a vet in several pieces as it was so large

RIDE your horse FORWARDS and keep him STRAIGHT

Only horse crazy peops like us would take pictures of something as gross as smegma build up from a horse's genitals and more crazy horse peops to look at it!

Don't feel bad. I just removed one about the size of a quarter but it was more soft. Gross, but my gelding is difficult to get to drop, caught him relaxed tied up waiting for the farrier
