Shoulda thought him through

So I love chrome but gosh should I have thought it through more . Hi ear is finally healing and last week he got trimmed again. Seemed fine that day I rode him lightly that night because a guy wanted to see him that Sunday and he hadn't been ridden for a month. Well we were gone all Saturday and then Sunday comes and boom lame. So we thought maybe he was trimmed short and he'd be fine in a week. Gave him a week off but no go still off. So I am seriously hoping that my farrier just trimmed him a little to drastically since he did more then he did last time. However I just wish I had really sat back and thought him through instead of letting my emotions take over. I haven't gotten to do muh since I bought him because of his ear and now his leg.

I guess this is more of a rant. He is fine at a walk and feels good enough to act a fool during feeding time but I just want to be able to ride and enjoy my horse and I can't even do that because the boy is mr accident.
Ok I'm good now haha if he isn't good by the next couple weeks my trainers good leg vet will be in town an ill have him take a look.

just a small town girl with a big town dream :]
