Spanish Itch

Does anyone know any home remedies for Spanish Itch? We give Vetalog shots and fly spray continuously but can't seem to keep it under control. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What is Spanish Itch? Is it also called something else?

Spanish Itch is basically a fly allergy. It is an allergic reaction to the saliva of those little black gnat type bugs that fly around the horse poop. The skin gets irritated and itchy. Pretty quick they are loosing the hair and bleeding from itching. Looks like a bunch of bumps and it is most common around the legs, chest, neck and face.
