Special Flymasks?

I have a morgan mare who got dumped off at my place (havn't seen her owner in 17 months) and she has reoccurring uvitis. She is starting to flare (even with aspirin therapy) and I wanted to get her a mask. The gaurdian masks are like $90!!! Anyone know were I can get a cheaper version? Or make one my self?

Never heard of Guardian Masks. Are they supposed to have a UV block or something?
I would think that any darkly-colored fly mask would have at least some sun-blocking capabilities. The Crusader ones have a really fine mesh that probably maximizes that benefit.
