Sticky stifle revisited

Hello! Iam new to this forum, sure appreciate joining and having access
To a ton of info!
So the sticky stifle belongs to my 12 year old mustang mare, Juniper.
Soon after we brought her home in February this year she started having
Problems with the stifle. After the vet and chiropractor we excersized
Her and gave it time. It seemed to be much better after a few weeks
And yesterday that back leg was at it again. So im curious if there is
Anyone with experience and if it will always be an issue?? Thanks so
Much for any help!!

Hello, well I am curious to know what conclusion your vet came to and what kind of exercising you did. As far as it being an ongoing issue depends on what is causing it, does this happen the first couple steps out of the stall? It could be from a weak hind end, soreness issue, shoeing, OCD, neurological, just a number of things.

The vet said it was because she sat and lost quite a bit of tone. The exercising is walking up and down hills. No babying..no stall. We were lounging her a bit more, working her a bit more...
The tendon was stretched, thus causing it some how to catch..

SO back to walking up..and down...
