Just because you believe it is right, doesn't make it so. You wouldn't like it if someone came to your house and started forcing their way of life on you, so why would you do it to them?

Animal cruelty of any kind is disgusting and should be stopped. But everything is in context - how do you know what those horses have been through? How do you know that it is neglect or cruelty that has put them in that state? The horse with it's throat slit has probably been slaughtered for meat - who are we to judge a lifestyle that includes horse meat? We may not like it, but no one is trying to force us to eat it.

the horse with its throat slit was for animal testing I read the website. Just because this is a way of life for some doesnt mean its a way of life for the horse

You believe everything you read on the internet? In that case, I am still 18, ride Olympic level dressage and breed black egyptian arabians...

This is the internet. It takes as long to type lies as it does to type the truth.

What a horrific video. It saddens me that animals have to suffer such abuse from what is supposed to be the most highly evolved species of all. I understand that horses are beast of burden or food in many countries. If I myself purchase or was raising an animal for food or to be a beast of burden, I still would not wish upon it a death that causes it to live for hours in a suffering state. Animals should be killed and then butchered, not butchered, suffering and dying.

ya and if it werent for horses alot of people would have never mad it around the us or even in other countries. I remember when I learned for vet school what horses usto look like. They never had hoofs back when the earth evolved. There feet the bones you learn about in the skeletol system as there toes were all that they had in the old days. Horses have just evolved. So I know that this world should know a little something about horses. Not that there a domestic animal but that they were the ones who drug us all over and kep most of our world alive

I get where you are coming from, I really do. I am totally against animal cruelty, don't get me wrong.

However, in some cultures, meat is considered 'dirty' if it is killed by any other way than bleeding it out. They believe that killing the animal in another way is wrong. Does that make us just as bad to them?

What has evolution got to do with cruelty? We evolved to have concious thought, hence why we can have this discussion.

And FYI, the horse still runs on it's single remaining toe.

probably. But as everyone says the other side of the world is so much smarter then us and theyre making all our new technology???? Well if that's the case why arent they doing something to control there abuse rate. I mean even places here in us they leave there animals to starve all the time... neglect, aboned, or abused. If they can't handle the animal then they should give it away or sell it. To people have the time, money, and dedication to the animal
