ANYONE, and I mean anyone can post information on the internet, because there are no 'laws' to stop them, unlike with book, or even newspaper editing...there is no real regulation, so I could post pics of animals who have, maybe, been burned in a fire, or run over tragically from escaping a yard, and scream out ABUSE! And no one on the internet could stop me, because there are no 'copy right laws' to stop me. You don't have to have copyright to post stuff on the net...SO, OP, start taking what you see online with a grain of salt, because it may not be legitimate. Go elsewhere to find your information on abuse and neglect.

Realistically, being for or against the certain treatment of animals is absolutely no different then being for or against homosexual marriage or being for or against abortion.

Most people in foreign countries are not out to delibrately torture animals. They simply believe animals are inferior creatures that don't deserve the same regard people do. Heck, a lot of these cultures still believe stoning is a perfectly logical way to met out the death penalty, so why exactly do we expect them to care that a horse may be in some pain when they bleed it out?

It's great to try and change the world, but it's best to stick to your own country where you know the laws. You can't change a country until they want change themselves, and you can definitely try and educate them, but walking around with the attitude that you're somehow better or wiser then them because you try not to mistreat animals isn't going to get you far.
