I use zinc on my paint horse daily. I have also used aloe gel to soothe the skin as well. He hasn't had any adverse effects from it thus far. I have read recently in one of my magazines where some people have tattooed around the rim of non pigmented eyes to reduce cancer formation in that area.

If I could find someone in my area who does that kind of tattooing, I would do it for both of my blue eyed horses. Neither one has 'eyeliner' and it would be helpful there at least.

My horse looks almost exactly like "pinkie" Well his face does anyway....I'll try everyone's suggestions.
