Sunny's Bow-Legged-ness;)

I got the vet out today...( he trims my horses as well)). and was asking him questions since I have been concerned about Sunny's back legs for a while. He said last time he trimmed them.. he even took pictures because Sunny is sooo outta wack in the back;).. Hes SOUND.. as of now.. 100%.. and Im going to do everything my 16 year old me can do.. In order to keep him in shape and healthy:).

My vet said that since he is soo bow-legged he wears off the inside(?) i think thats what I heard. faster which leads to his tendons being in an uncomforable place, and can lead to not being sound.. He said that shoeing just his back feet will help stabilize his hocks( because the twist when he walks kinda) and minimize the wear on the inside of his hoof.. I couldn't get it this time though.. because my dad doesn't want to spend extra money on a horse.. -.-... but I'm getting a job for that reason.. so I can help my horse.. since my dad wont..( its really his horse- legally lol)..

He also said that Sunny probably wont be sound some of his life.. atleast not 100%.. so a suppliment would be good..

the number one thing I think would be to keep his back feet done.. every 6 weeks or so.. and make sure he says in shape..

does anyone else have experience with a bow-legged horse? thanks for reading:)..
