If she's young (I would say under 4-5 years) then yes that it normal.

If she's older, I don't think so.

Oh good!!! We saw that this morning and went oh my gosh. What made us nervous was that her halter had come off so we thought she had hit something.

She is going to be 3 next month.

yeah that's normal for a young horse. They loose there baby teeth just like humans do.

If you want, you can pull it out (so it's not in her way) or if she's munching on hay or something it will fall out.

My mare, when she was 4 lost a couple baby teeth. I kept them! I thought it was pretty cool to see her little baby teeth.

I went oowwhh! That looks like it hurt? Was she in any pain? I haven't seen that happen thanks for posting it. One more thing to expect with the baby

I have never seen this either. I just hope it is not her adult teeth but they say it most likely is not. So, thank you everyone for your post.

It is probably her 'baby' teeth, so that is normal. I'd let it fall out on its own, or it probably will when she's eating. :)

Yep those are baby teeth. When my stallion lost his he would leave them in his food trough for me to collect. I still have them.
