I applied pressure with my hand all up and down her legs and then focused on the swollen fetlocks and she didn't even flinch. No heat and no physical injuries anywhere on her.
Scarlet is in her stall during the day, and is let out to pasture five nights a week around 6. Her stall was mildly muddy (I hate Florida storms!) but today I stripped it and laid out all new dry bedding.
I ride her several times a week if I can, last week and this week I've ridden her daily if not every other day. Riding her usually consists of warming her up, trotting her around, then really "opening her up" and running around the 5 acre pasture then cooling her down and letting her out to pasture for the night. Riding lasts Anywhere from 30 mins to an hour or more.
Any suggestions? Ride her...don't ride her? Anything I should/shouldn't do?
