Switching hay

I had both of my horses on straight grass for a while, then went to "60/40" grass/alfalfa, if they have been eating a mixed hay like that, can I easily switch to starigh alfalfa? Or do I need to repeat to process of slowly introducing them to it?

Thanks for any help!

If it's average 1st or 2nd cutting, I wouldn't worry about it. If it's really nice stuff, find something else to cut it with.
