Testicles dropped and now a swollen sheath

So my other halfs yearling colt just dropped his testicles. His sheath has swollen up is this normal? We are going to keep an eye on it this weekend. But we would really like to know if anyone knows if this is normal or not.

Has he been checked for a bean?

Also, are you sure the testicles dropped (by actually feeling them) or is it possible that here is just a lot of swelling in the scrotum as well? Make sure he is urinating ok and if the swelling doesn't go down over the weekend have him checked by a vet.

A couple of weeks ago my old TB's sheath was really swollen and I was like wth then I checked him over and found a tick just inside his sheath and after getting that off in a couple of days the swelling went down.
