To make things worse Force my 8 year old gelding is lame. He came in with a cut above the cornet band. The vet gave him bute to gett rid of the swelling. Later that night I walked into his stall and he was leaning on the wall and holding his leg off the ground. I called the vet and he came out the next morning and put pads on. Later in the week we took x-rays and it showed his left coffin bone is severely rotated. My other colt and a boarders mare came in with the same cut above the cornet band and in the exact same area. Both the mare and colts legs are very swollen and they are lame. The three horses do not go out in the same field. All my other horse seem fine. I am so angry because we don't know what they have and the 8 year old is not responding to the medicine.
