Default Today was the BIG day! GREAT NEW! READ PLZ!

Well today was the day!!! Chance got her teeth floated!! lol the dentist was so suprised with her we all though she would rear move around and just not work..and we would have to sedate her! THEY WERE WRONG!!!! !!!! my baby was sooooooo good! She acted at if she was sedated but she wasnt at all! !! I just petted her and kept her calm! ! everytime the dentist went to go get a new tool she would litteraly trot over to me for protection!

Also I asked the dentist how old she thought she was and she said she was JUST turning 5!!!!!! maybe possibly 6 we had to pull 2 bwaby tweef! [teeth]
hehe. Everyone i told there mouth dropped! they thought she would be over 10 and i all told them No shes no older then 7 if that but there like noo she doesnt want to beleive it blah blah blah!! I was RIGHT!!! also everyone said she was amazingly well trained for a 41/2 yr old! and I DID IT!

Before her teeth got done I rode her some it went well! We accually had a nice COLLECTED canter! !!!!!! we did some jumping a lot of trot poles! Im so proud of my baby!!!!!! before that she was soooooooo loveable i just sat at teh door of her stall and she just kinda stayed with me gave me kissed cuddle a little i litteraly almost cried it was so amazing just feeling the love she gave me. She let me hold her head and give her a ton of love and kisses she watched her step so she didnt kick me.. idk just all day if i left the second i came back she ran to her door!

so the dentist said give her 3 rides before she relizes that the bit wont hurt her anymore. Next thing is to get her feet trimed AGAIN!

everyone who has either done her feet given her shots or floated her teeth all say shes a great mare very cute well trained and they all want her :P but too bad shes MINE!! !!!!! im telling you ive been smiling all day!

*gives hugs to everyone!*

Thats real great news! I'm anxious to see how my girl will do with her teeth get done. So far so good with the shots & ferrier! So we are on the right road! I'm always so proud when my horse or any of my animals don't give the vets a hard time.

Sounds like you have a wonderful horse! My two-year old gelding is very gentle like that. Whenever I'm doing something in his paddock, he just follows me everywhere, and even comes over and puts his chin on my shoulder---it is such a wonderful feeling to have that kind of love from these magnificent creatures! :)

The vet had to give my Henry 2 shots so she could float his teeth! A stoned horse is really funny Congrads on have a calm horse. I'd be happy to with a horse like Chance - the sedation alone cost me $52!!!!
