Neat idea! As long as we all remember in 6 months to check back in, sounds like fun.

Last time I measured:
Snowkicker, Paint/ Sport pony cross
18 months, 13.2 hands 700#
Dam:13 hands
Don't know about the string test but I'm guessing at least 14.2 when grown. He's now 22 months so I should measure him again.

Brr! I just ran out back and measured him again. He is now 14 hands and 800#. Not too surprised because he was looking tall and dorky lately instead of short and fat. I don't know maybe he will get to 15 hands, which would be funny considering how small his mama was.
