Tracking babies growth!

Saw this on another forum and thought it would be fun to start one here. Hope this is an OK place to put this.

I figure we can start another thread in about 6 months from now and see how everyone has grown :) Feel free to include pics! I need to go get some current ones of her tomorrow and will update.

Neat idea! As long as we all remember in 6 months to check back in, sounds like fun.

Finn, 10 month old 3/4 Shire 1/4 Paint
Current height ~ 14.3hh
Sire height ~ 18hh
Dam height ~ 15.3hh

Estimated mature height from string test 18.2hh (hoping that's a fluke, haven't done it since he was 6 months)

Last time I measured:
Snowkicker, Paint/ Sport pony cross
18 months, 13.2 hands 700#
Dam:13 hands
Sire:14.2
Don't know about the string test but I'm guessing at least 14.2 when grown. He's now 22 months so I should measure him again.

Brr! I just ran out back and measured him again. He is now 14 hands and 800#. Not too surprised because he was looking tall and dorky lately instead of short and fat. I don't know maybe he will get to 15 hands, which would be funny considering how small his mama was.
