    I just did my spring check up and vacs and pulled coggins.
    Asked the vet about it and he said that yes he has had positive tests and to track everyone down to get all the positive horses euthed is really tough as it spreads so easily. Especially with it coming up to spring, I would be really diligent about it.
    No you can't keep them in a bubble bit refusing to support businesses which don't take your horses health seriously is about all you can do. I don't go to facilities that are run down and dangerous, that have bad footing or that don't require coggins. Not only for the health of my horses, but all the ones at home, and because I don't like paying more emergency vet bills than I have to!
