If you wanna see something really funny give them some water mellon rinds. My horse LOVEs them so much in the summer. But they will slobber, drool and foam at the mouth aaaal over the place when eating them ;)

Wow, I never thought about that... maybe I could brush their teeth? :) Well, they do get hay to bristle away sugar plus water to rinse so I would think they are ok.

Haha, I did that once and he look like he was having so much fun with it! He looked like he was rabid, too.

The only fruit or vegetable that I have heard of being bad for horses is avocadoes.

That's funny, because I was told that avocadoes were good for horses with arthritis. I looked on some sites, some say its ok to give them some and others say not to.
