Default Ultium Competition Horse Formula (again)

I am looking for more information on Ultium. Last year I grained Blu with it and he seemed to like it and it helped his appearance and performance from what I could see. Ultium is also the only feed at our local feedstore that doesn't get Blu 'up-high'.

Should I feed Ultium as soon as I get Blu to the fairgrounds and working or do I need to wait?

Thanks...

That is one of the feeds that our show horses get in the summer. I think it works really well. Like jazzyrider said start feeding it at least a week before you go to the fair grounds.

lol. I like it a lot, too. So hopefully Mom can take me to go buy some. The bad part is tht its pretty expensive compared to other grains.

I use Ultium. It does make my horse considerably more energetic

I walked into our feedroom the today and realized that we feed Ultium! Apparently we switched a bit ago... I honestly haven't noticed any difference (in weight or energy level) in this compared to any other sweet feed mix.
