Update on Candi 10 weeks post op!

Hey everyone.
I cannot remember when I put pics etc up of Candi.
She is doing well. She has been cleared to do some work. Walk trot walk trot. The vet wants us long lining since she is a bit "full of her self" no really full of her self.
Keeping her quiet is not easy and sometimes it just ain't going to happen.
I have learned to not make a big deal of the things at this point because this only makes it all worse. The key is to stay calm and cool about everything.
So she is doing about 20-25 min of walk trot on the long lines 4-5 days a week. When I am unable to have the trainer work with her she goes to a very small turnout. Usually one with some grass, but they irrigated and that particular one is pretty muddy so no go for a few days.

Here are a few pics of her in a sand paddock from today. The workers needed to pressure wash the small barn where here paddock and shelter are so they moved some horses into the rehab paddocks while they did their work.
Candi loves this one horse and was trying to get his attention by jumping squealing bucking and rearing. Not really what the vet ordered, but she does it in her own paddock so it makes no difference.

First here is the most recent video of her from Sat this past week. There are some other vids of her in the account but that is the most recent!

The photos are from today!
The pic of the two horses touching noses are Candi on the left as you look at the pic and Bosco on the right...(she has a crush on him) lol
Enjoy
My favorite pic is the last one.
I entitled it "Catching AIR"

Why yes she was. I hope she was a lot calmer when the staff had to put her back in her house...lol.
Usually I will go ahead and handle her if she is that "funkily"
She can be quite a handful.
She is funny when she long lines - she squeals a bunch. When she is excited when she is defiant, just to be a big stinker...hehe..
Too funny.
