Update on Dusty.

Got his teeth floated last tuesday and doc said not to ride him for 3 days minimum. I'm giving him 7 because so much had to be removed. He isn't dropping near as much food and seems much calmer. Worked him on lead today and can really tell the difference. He behaved better tan ever! No issues with spooking even in very high wind. Going to ride tomorrow if I can get home early enough. Feeling really hopeful after today.

Needing teeth floated can really throw a horse off. It's crazy how much that can help a horse.

Glad to hear he is doing better! My horse is getting his teeth done this week Im hoping, waiting for the call back from the dentist :)

First ride since the float today! Poor guy was really nervous! Rode horrible at first but knowing the teeth where fixed allowed me to do what I know how to do. It was no fairytale all is well kind of ride an I knew it wouldn't be. For the first time ever my riding improved him. That's all I really wanted was to start improving him an I finally did! On top of that I got my groove back riding him when he was acting crazy. Never felt better!

What a great ride today! Had a lil 30 second tantrum when I mounted then couldn't have asked for a better ride! Rode over on the farm a little ways. Few small spooks an rebellions but so much better today. I'm so glad I didn't give up on him! He is going to be a great horse with a lil more riding! Thanks so much to everyone here for advice an words of encouragement! You have no idea how much it helped! Y'all are a great group of folks!
