Update on Left Eye and poor Speed

Haven't had any recent photos, but my daughter said the leg injury is starting to fill in on the outside edges and working in. Not alot, but at least it is healing. She is walking well, eating well and seems to be dealing with her injury.

I was gone to dog shows last weekend and my hubby called the first morning I was gone, poor Speed was all cut up. Seems the mules in the pasture next to our pasture decided they wanted into our field for food and tore down the wire fence and must have chased Speed into the down fence. They bent over metal fence posts and ripped the fencing down. There is now a hot wire up, and with a bit of teasing with a bucket of grain, the mules all got hit hard with the electric fence and stay away.
Speed ended up with cuts and stitches on his chest and neck and inside his front leg, a nasty cut on his knee and lots of little cuts/slices on his hind legs and belly. Of course this had to happen the first day I was gone, but he trailered him to the vets and he just stayed there for the five days I was gone. He is back home, the stitches are healing well, he is not lame and things look good. The big chest injury is the worst, about 50 double stitches to get it back together.
I did great at the shows, my puppy got his first points against adult dogs. So, there was some good in the weekend.
