Update on my skinny horse. Pic heavy.

Hi everyone,
It's been just over two weeks since I posted this: Is my horse too thin and does he have a worm belly?

Since then, he was wormed once and will be getting wormed again. I've been giving him grain everyday. He's getting two cups but I plan to slowly increase that to three. A stall opened up at my barn so I'm moving him from pasture board to indoor board. That will eliminate him having to compete with the other horses for food in the evening (he's lowest in the pecking order). It will also keep him warmer during the cold winter nights. I looked for cool calories 100 but can't find it in Canada. I'd like to start him on a multiple vitamin as well. Any suggestions? A store is opening up near me soon and they sell this: Greenline Ultimate 850gr-On Sale until Jan 31 2012 [SUG7403]

Here are some pics (all taken today). I think he's gained a bit. What do you think?

Close up of ribs.

He's very unique I really like him! But I'm quickly becoming a bald face junkie....haha.

FYI you're hackamore is about 2 inches too low, I'm sure there's tons of threads on here that can show you how to properly fit it :)

He sure is a pretty boy! However, like Buttermilk said, the hackamore and the halter are pretty low, their nose bone down there is sensitive.

He's looking much better! I can definitely see an over-all improvement, which is great considering that it's only been two weeks. Sounds like you're making the right decisions. Can't wait to see the finished product, he's quite the pretty beasty!

Thanks, everyone:) I'll look into properly fitting the hackamore. I might have to punch more holes. I'll also tighten the halter. I appreciate your advice. Did anyone notice that the halter is on inside out? Lol. It got tangled in the field when I went to get him and it was cold and windy so I just put it on inside out:)- It wasn't on for too long like that.

Oh. Vitamins. Shall I add a multivitamin supplement to his grain? I know nothing about them. Favourite brand?
