Update on Scribbles the pony

Well he was doing alot better today...we spent a good hour or more removing hair (we could literally just pull out handfuls), by the time we were done there was a hhuuuuuuuuuuuge pile of fur (I wanted to make it into a pillow) and Scribbles looked alot happier. We still didn't get all of his winter fur off, but we got ALOT of it out. He looks soooo much better!!
He's still skinny, but the BO has uped his grain in take since that is all that he can eat...he's getting about 2 coffee can scoops of grain, 1 scoop of beet pulp, and half can of rice bran, have it soaked in water...then some vegetable oil (only a tiny little bit...just started adding that today)...and he gets that 3 times a day. So hopefully that will do the trick.

She said she called her vet to get him tested for Cushings, but the vet was full until the end of July (no idea why cause I don't like her vet), so she's looking around for other ones.

I'll keep ya all updated on Scribbles....he had a little more spunk than the other day, and he seemed alot happier with less hair haha
Didn't get pictures, sadly...will get some tomorrow, hopefully

Aw I'm glad he's doing better. Hopefully your BO will get another vet, that vet sounds a bit weird lol.
