If it's not one thing it's another right? Just got back from the barn. Drifter was his normal perky self. We have been slowly getting back into work from the stifle injury, and yesterday was a horrible night for us. Drifter wanted to go, he didnt want to work on slow exercises.
Since last night ended with us both tired and frustrated with one another I wanted to take today easy. We were fooling around in the dirt arena, practicing Drifter's tricks. He was 'hanging out' which I thought nothing of, because he wears his heart out on his..sheath...if you catch my drift. If he is the least bit relaxed/happy .. his buddy is coming out to say hey. We were practicing laying down and it was involving me rubbing him all over, so it was completely normal to me that the little man was coming out to see what was up.
Then at one point I noticed it was starting to press up against his belly, which is again normal for him. I got onto him a little bit, because I hate when he tries to do that while we're working.
I noticed little drops of clear liquid coming out of it. I immediately freaked and when I did he gave a little spook, sucked it up and the dripping stopped. I put him in the cross ties and cleaned him out, nothing. No bean, nada. And no dripping.
Went back to trick training with him and the same thing happened. It started pressing up against his belly and it dripped. I pressed all around his back near his kidneys and I didn't get a reaction. But do yall think it could be a bladder issue or anything? He is eating/drinking/pooping/peeing fine. He has been gelded less than a year, if that helps with anything or could have anything to do with it.
Also, I am calling my vet in the morning. Already planning on it. I have called them WAY too much this month haha and was hoping someone on hear might have some ideas as well!
