Vaccination Schedule

I was looking in one of my many vet manuals and I came across the recommended immunization schedule and I thought it would be helpful .


Tetanus Toxide - 3 mos, 4 mos
EEE, WEE - 3 mos, 4 mos
Equine Influenza - 3 mos, 4 mos, 5 mos, repeat every 3 mos
Rhinopneumonitis - 2 mos, 3 mos, 4 mos, repeat every 3 mos

Tetanus Toxide - 12 mos
EEE, WEE - 12 mos, in spring
Equine Influenza - Every 3 mos
Rhinopneumonitis - Every 3 mos
(EHV-1 and EHV-4)

Pleasure Horses

Tetanus Toxide - Annually
EEE, WEE - Annually, in spring
Equine Influenza - Biannually
Rhinopneumonitis - Optional, bianually if elected
(EHV-1 and EHV-4)


Tetanus Toxide - Annually
EEE, WEE - Annually, in spring
Equine Influenza - Every 3 mos
Rhinopneumonitis - Every 3 mos
(EHV-1 and EHV-4)


Tetanus Toxide - Annually, 3 to 6 weeks before foaling
EEE, WEE - Annually, 3 to 6 weeks before foaling
Equine Influenza - Biannually, with booster 4 weeks before foaling
Rhinopneumonitis - 5th, 7th, and 9th month of pregnancy
(inactivated EHV-1 Virus only)
