Green Broke
vetericyn eye wash

I noticed that Gidget has some eye discharge starting. It's a white-ish color..maybe a hint of yellow but not much. Anyways her eyes randomly gooped up this week! I noticed a small sore near her eye..I've been watching it.I am not sure if it's from eye irritation. I had the vet come out last month to have her eyes checked for cancer signs...all negative. He said he eyes were in good shape....she is a bald faced paint with no eyeliner so I have to be really careful with her.

Anyways, I was wondering if I should flush her eyes out with saline or there is some eye wash by vetericyn..I was curious if anyone has tried it and if I should try that. It's expensive for a tiny bottle but if it works I will get it.
It has turned into fall so I am wondering if maybe she has allergies or the change of weather has affected her.

When I worked at a boarding barn we used vetericyn on the horses who had allegies in the fall, like you mentioned. It work well, but there seemed to be an awful lot of waste, especially for the horses who wouldn't cooperate when you tried to put it in their eye.
