He can't come till Friday. Busy time of year I guess. Our club had a shot day this weekend...everyone brings their horses and the vet gives shots all in one place. But we couldn't make it. Plus when he comes to the house he does all the dogs too.

[Does she still have the lump? Hope it's nothing and she recovers quickly!

It seems like one day its not there and the next it is so kinda weird. Its gotten pretty small though so I'm sure its nothing to worry about. She is probably just low on carrotene

I'd assume that with all the stolen bootie she's getting she would have plenty of beta carotene.

Just an FYI for anyone concerned
The vet said it felt like scar tissue from an injury. He wasn't concerned since it was so close to the surface of the tissue.
Also Shiloh had what we thought was a sarcoma on her inside front elbow which he said was a horse wart Gosh we sure worry too much.

So, what's with the "here one day and gone the next" thing then? Odd, eh? Well, as long as it's nothing to be concerned about, it's all good, right?

Glad to hear it.

It never went away completely, its just much smaller than when I originally found it. He said its may always be there like an old deep tissue injury. Its very much in the shape of a hoof or could even be bite shaped.
I had to really search to find it so I could show it to him. I'm sure he thought I was a nut job worry wart horse goof ball

I'm sure he thought, "what a good horse momma". At least he knows your checking your horses for any thing suspicious.
