True but she has ~40 horses and none of the others showed signs.

The only options I can think of is to leave him alone or start a treatment with combiotics. I'm leaning toward just leaving him alone.

We had one boarded horse that ended up being a carrier. Horse was here for months before she started to actively shed. Never was quite 'right' from the get go but not knowing the horse (new horse to owner) there were too many variables. I trust my gut now to call the vet in. If we had pulled blood, we would of known and saved a mess and a half.

(check the fibrinogen level)
