    We Had an accident

Um so today me and Twinkie completely somersaulted. He got banged up pretty bad and I was able to avoid getting stuck under him. I took pictures to show you guys and I have a question.

Are his knee's ever going to look normal again? :'[
I haven't been this upset about anything in a long time. I started crying when I saw how cut up he was.

    Side of his front left

    Front of his back right

Back of his front right leg.

    Face

    Left front knee :'[

    Right front knee

Thank god the chiropractor was there as it happened

    My Mummy boy :'[

That sucks that it happened but don't worry, those are pretty superficial wounds. I bet money they'll heal and have the hair grow back just fine. If you can get your hands on some hydrocortisone cream, it works MAGIC in making hair grow back. You can buy it at the pharmacy, it's an ointment for people with eczema and skin problems, and it's done wonders for our skinned up crew.

Wait til they heal and have scabbed nicely and just spread a bit of cream on once a day.

So sorry about your accident. I am sure that those wounds will cover over nicely. MM had a good suggestion with the hydrocoritsone. Its cheap and it works.

What happened? How did it happen?

The arena at the place I bored at is really hard and uneven right now, and it doesnt help that my now as of today old farrier sucks and Twinkies toes are to long, we were loping I asked for a lead change and it just happened. I flew forward to the side of him then he went over and there was a ton of dust and I yelled out his name to him so he knew where I was because there was so much dust you couldnt see anything. My mom thought he fell on me, thank god he didnt.

Iv now moved him to a friends ranch.

Good move. Bad footing is a bad situation. Glad you are both alright. Good thing you had your chiro there! I bet he needed it!

His knees will probably grow back white however proper vigilent care and give them the chance to heal properly should prevent to much scarring
