Weird lump in tooth area?

Yesterday afternoon I went over to check on Lacey after school and one side of her jaw (the right side) was really weirdly shaped... Obviously I felt it, squeezed it, and all that and it's a very hard mass, like a tooth, bone, or something very hard like that. She showed no response to my poking and prodding it so I'm pretty sure whatever it is doesn't hurt...
I stuck my finger in her mouth to see if there was something stuck there and there wasn't anything. There was a bit of grass stuck in her cheek which made it appear bigger but the lump was still big once the grass was out. It felt like her gum area was that huge and I'm not really sure what to make of that... She wasn't happy with me sticking my finger in her mouth (but she's never too happy about that) and she was much calmer when I stuck my finger in on the other side (just to see if I could feel differences). I'm not sure what to make of it.

I think you can see that there was no giant lump there a few weeks ago...(photobucket is acting up and it won't let me find a better one) Also this picture is from right after she got her teeth done so she's drugged out of her mind:

She doesn't live with any other horses so she couldn't have been kicked in the face or something... She seems totally fine with it, eating fine and all that, just I'm not sure I should be ok with it...

ETA- Yikes! Double sorry for the giant pictures, dumb Photobucket.

Sounds like an abscessed tooth. I would get her vet checked.

Wouldn't an abscessed tooth hurt? She's not showing any signs of pain...
I'll send my vet an email with the pictures to see what she says.

We think it was just hay/grain stuck in there. After waiting a few days, it disappeared. It's come back a few times but each time it's gone very quickly. :)
