What do you know about buttercups?

I've read their poisonous to horses.

Any thoughts?

So have I.
There were TONS of buttercups in our feilds but none of the horses had issues.

I'm not sure what they do to the horse's system but they are poisonous.
Unless there's absolutely nothing else to eat my horses just eat around them. But if there's only a few it would be a good idea to pull them out roots and all.
