You horse is healing really well with that Golden! I'll have to get some ordered.
I would also be very concerned about the horses running in and out of the stalls. In a herd situation there is always going to be bullying, and it is down right dangerous that the horses be put in a situation that they are trapped in a stall without the ability to get away from the other horses. I would think that this is a very serious accident waiting to happen.
Yeah, at first when we saw the barn, met the owners they seemed nice and like everything was well kept...they just didn't know that much about horses...just had the land for it and got some for their daughters kinda...So Kate (Stella's actual mom) has kept a close eye on her, and been trying to teach them proper care but it hasn't been going too well. Stella is bigger then their 3 horses but she just always lets them push her out of her stall because they want to stand in her stall because we actually bed it. When we first moved there, after the first inncident we started making them keep their horses in field and come in for feed and Stella got the dirt paddock with the barn...they got lazy and stopped doing that though. So hopefully they will start doing that again and listen to us (once she's allowed to go out of her stall, she likes to roll :() Orrrr we will move her to a bigger barn with more knowledgeable people that take precautions to keep this from happening!
