What kind of soft tissue injury exists between the elbow and the knee??

I am going slightly crazy. After all the joint blocks, etc, etc on my boy , the vet thinks its a soft tissue injury above the knee. He wants me to go to another vet who does above the knee blocks with ultrasound.

The lameness is slight at a grade 2, mild head bob on the right circle, and on hard ground. I am looking for suggestions as to what kind of possible muscle or tendon injury can be found, above the knee. Thanks in advance!
