    What is the normal??

    Well I had pc yesterday and we had a vet come and vist she told us all the normal heart/pulse rate temps breathing rate and what the gut should sound like. But me being me I have already forgetton them all :roll: I think the breathin was like 6-7 per min temp was 36-37 degrees celcius the gut you should have to wait 5 sec to hear noise to much bad to little bad I think anyway could someone confirm or correct for me, even add in extra info :)

    Yearling
    Heart rate 28-45 beats per minute
    Respiration 8-20 breaths per minute
    Temperature 100 degrees farenheit plus or minus one degree

    As always, individuals vary so get to know your own horse's normals as things like fitness level will cause them to be slightly higher or lower in resp. And HR. Temp is pretty standard across the boar though.
