I am almost positive that I am switching farms in April. The barn I am at feeds your horse, as the grain is included in board. Shocking is an easy keeper, and he maintains his weight.
At the new farm, you buy your own grain (I like that). I just want to know if I should fee Shocking's food.
He is on Phase 4, 1/2 a scoop, twice daily.
He has maintained his weight quite nicely, a nice coat, and healthy feet.
We are eventers, but we don't compete more then once a month during show season. I ride him 5 or 6 times a week thought. We do mostly flat but during the summer, we do alot of cross country.
Is this enough food to keep him healthy? Should I change his food or no, because he is healthy and happy?
