When to preg test.......

I was wondering when is the best time to preg test a mare after she has been served? How many weeks, etc?

Also does anyone in Oz know roughly how much it costs? :)

Ok, I didn't think this was such a hard question to answer! Maybe I put it in the wrong section? I thought the health section would be the spot for it?!

Anyone?........................................... ................

It depends...

It depends on what kind of test you are refering too. If you mean the Pregna Mare tests I think it's somewhere around 45 days or so. The vet can palpate to see if they are pregnant at about 16 days after conception.

I had my mare preg checked at 85 days, but they can be ultrasounded earlier than that. It really depends on the vet.
