Who has used daily dewormers?

Has anyone tried the daily dewormers? At the feed store today and ws looking at them. Just wondered if anyone has used them and their opinion. Is it worth the extra expense? I've thought about giving it a try.
Here is the link to the one I was looking at

The only reason why I wouldn't use daily dewormers, is because I would think they worms after a while would become immune to the dewormer. Unless however, you used different brands every few weeks, and kept switching it up.

I agree with Jillyann, I don't use them because I worry about tolerance. Here is what I mean: like bacterial resistance, can the parasites eventually develop resistance to the de-wormer? I asked this question of many vets and feed specialists and could never get a good answer. Over-use of antibiotics is what is contributing to anti-biotic resistant bacteria today. To me, intestinal parasites are not that far removed from this situation.

I had my appaloosa on a daily wormer over two years just because I was competing so much during the summer and fall. It was just easier to give it in the grain then to keep track of what I gave and when to do it.

I wouldn't recommended daily wormers... it weakend my horse's immune system (he has had a past of ulcers and since I had stopped using the wormers and backed him up with probiotics he hasn't had the runs for weeks now).

I wished back when I was doing it to just take the pain and keeping track of it haha. Plus he looks a thousand times better since i've stopped. In the long run its not worth it I think.
