What wormer do you use? Do you worm every 3 months or do you have daily wormer? I need opinions on wormer. I'm thinking about trying this daily wormer that a friend of mine reccomended. I think its called stragid C or something like that. I only have one horse that I half to pay for so I'm not really worried about cost right now.

You should rotate use of wormers, use different ones different times of the year for different types of worms. I would not use a daily wormer. We just had a clinic with our vet and she explained that because people are using the daily and monthy wormers, the worms are building up a resistance to them, and once they do that, there is not any other option to get rid of them. In our area, there is not pasture areas, so the horses here are less likely to get worms from their own corrals, so she advised us not to over do the wormers and if you're really worried about the worms, send some manure in for a worm count to see it you really do need to worm.
