Worming Question!

So I really need to worm my geldings neither have been wormed since may but I was wondering since they're both in a field with 3 other horses who haven't been wormed since who knows when and there are two others horses in a connecting field, will it do any good to worm them unless the others are wormed as well?

I'd worm my horses, then you know they have been wormed, and ask the other owners to worm their horses as well.
Good Luck

Thanks for replying! Don't worry I'm going to go ahead deworm my guys no matter what. I was just wondering how effective it will be if the others aren't wormed at the same time. Plus I need to know for sure others have got to be wormed for it be effective other wise i'll never get the owners (same ppl who own the property) to deworm the other horses.
