Worming schedules

I am terrible when it comes to worming schedules. What I am looking for are the brand names you use and what time of year. My horse is wormed four times a year (one for each season, close to every three months) I used to have a paper with what to use for that time of year. I lost it and magically the people who work in the horse section at fleet farm, or any other feed store can't seem to ever know what one your horse actually needs. Thanks!

Ps I do understand that you need to rotate, im going to put a schedule together (from your answers) to go off of from now on!

Ask your vet. Most are now recommending fecals every 3 months, but some of it varies by geography. SO, best to check.

I agree! Talk to your vet :) Mine just had me order some extra for my mare, he said she needs a double dose this time. I worm my horses every 8 weeks--yes, my vet told me to do so.

Thanks for posting this thread. I've been wondering about worming schedules myself as the wormer I use says to do it every other month but then i've also been told to do it every four months. I don't wanna over my worm my horses.
