Smile Yearling Colt With Wart Like Growths?

Hi guys,

My yearling colt has recently developed a couple of little wart like growths on his muzzle, any idea on what they could be? And any way to get rid of them?

I can get pictures if you need them.

Thanks

Warts are faily common on young horses. They are mostly found on the muzzle, lips and genitalia. They will grow for a couple of months than just go away on their own. Leave them alone. They're harmless.

Totally agree!! I have seen young horses with multiples of warts on their muzzles. Young horses are suspectible to warts and not so much to sacroids.
